Cave of the crystals
Cave of the Crystals (also called Giant Crystal Cave) is a cave connected to the Naica Mine 300 meters below the surface in Naica, Mexico. The main chamber contains some of the largest selenite crystals ever found.
Fly Geyser is a little-known tourist attraction in North America, which is located on a high desert plateau adjacent to the Black Rock Desert in northwestern part of Nevada in USA. The geyser is surrounded by lakes, its hot water is rich in calcium carbonate. Although it is located in the desert, it has frequent jets. Swiftcurrent Lake is located in the Many Glacier region of Glacier National Park, in the U. S. state of Montana. The fast disappearing Grinnell Glacier provides the crystal-clear water (down at the bottom, you can even see all the rocks).
Lake Natron is a salt lake located in northern Tanzania, close to the Kenyan border. Its beautiful red color is obtained from the high concentration of salt that turn the normally blue water a deep crimson shade (learn more). The alkaline water in Lake Natron has a pH so high (10.5) that it can fossilize animals into calcified mummies (learn more).
The Maldives are the smallest Asian country in both population and land area. With an average ground level of 1.5 meters above sea level, it is the lowest country on the planet. As you can see on the image above, lands were submerged by the rising waters.
