Dogs are adorable creatures and many, many people around the world consider them as the best thing that has ever happened to them. Many people will readily give their lives for their dogs and many dogs will give up their to rescue their persons. It’s a bond that’s beyond imagination, a bond beyond understanding, a bond created by love that no one and nothing can ever break.
If you agree to this, you’re part of those people who absolutely love their pups and won’t stand anything happening to them. But a coin has two sides, right? So apart from people who love dogs, there are others who just can’t understand “why dogs”. They treat their dogs like door mats and leave them out of their lives. Such people don’t deserve pets, or love or anything, for that matter.
So when dogs suffer, get abused and get tortured someone does come to rescue them. Every dog has a guardian angel, but the dogs in Sri Lanka? They have Dogstar Foundation! The Dogstar Foundation goes above and beyond to make sure the pups they rescue get back in shape with the help of love and care. See some examples below:
When Chester was rescued, the Dogstar Foundation found that she was covered with scabies and mange and she was also blind in one eye. When she arrived at Dogstar, the poor pup was starving and had calcium deficiency. This is what Chester looks like today!
Errol was so afraid of humans that he wouldn’t let anyone touch him and I think this was because of how his previous owners treated him. Errol slowly learned to trust again and his skin and overgrown nails were treated. This is what Errol looks like today!
This puppy suffered from both psychological and physical injuries and if anyone even tried to near him, he’d cry. He was in desperate need for help, care and love. In just a few months, this is what Sydney looks like today!
Amazing post right? Don’t forget to share it with your friends.
